Welcome to the second year of the Bush Turkey Classic, a three round, middle distance running race series on some iconic tracks in the Bramble Bay region. This is an unofficial, uninsured and probably unacceptable race series, participate at your own risk!

Scoring

Points are awarded per round in cross country format, corresponding to each athlete’s finishing position in their category, male or female. First place gets one point, second place gets two points and so on up to a maximum of five points. Athletes who DNS/DNF are awarded six points. Each race is mixed gender with a separate female and male competition. Points are accumulated across the three rounds, lowest score wins.

The length of the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge, southbound. We jog from the car park to the northern end of the bridge to start.
Meet at 5:30 AM at Decker Park Carpark for the warm up.

Deagon Speedway, 1.0km

The series returns to the infamous Deagon Speedway for the finale, a 1 kilometre stretch of Racecourse Road, Deagon.
Meet at 5:30 AM at Corner of Racecourse Road and Board Street for the warm up.
